Dr. Irshad Ul Haque, a respected and beloved general practitioner, passed away on November 16, 2024, after a prolonged illness. He was a pillar of his community and a source of care and inspiration to countless patients and colleagues over his remarkable career as GP at Monarch Medical Centre.

Dr. Irshad registered as a GP in 1970, dedicating his life to the service of his patients until 2023..! Alongside his brother, Dr. Iftikar Ul Haque, he practised as a GP partner in Radcliffe. Renowned for his exceptional clinical acumen, Dr. Irshad earned the respect and admiration of both patients and team members. His patients, many of whom have known him since birth, continue to remember him fondly for his dedication, kindness, and wisdom.

An avid reader and lifelong learner, Dr. Irshad remained deeply committed to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge, regularly engaging with the latest guidelines and journals throughout his career and even during his final days. His intellectual curiosity and pursuit of excellence left an indelible mark on those who knew him.

Dr. Irshad’s passing is a profound loss to all who knew him, particularly his colleagues, who cherished him as a valued team member, friend, philosopher, and guide. His legacy of compassion, skill, and dedication to his patients will long be remembered.

Dr. Irshad is survived by his beloved wife, Jayne, whose love and support were the cornerstones of his life.
