The Practice welcomes  Dr Shazia Malik (female Gp)who has joined as a Partner from 3rd Sep 2018. 

The practice supervises medical students.

The practice has a patient participation group.Please feel free to join it to enable us to hear your valuable comments and suggestions for improving patient care.For details simply ask one of the receptionist.



The practice runs a computerised appointment system between 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday. Emergency appointments will be seen on the day by telephoning the practice between 08:30 – 09:00am. 

The receptionists are here to help you, therefore they may need to ask you the reason for consultation as the practice offers a number of options for appointments which may be appropriate.  Any information shared with our receptionists is done so in the strictest confidence.

All patient records are computerised which ensures that whichever Doctor you see they will have up to date information about your medical history. Patients may request to see a specific doctor and will be informed if the doctor is not available.

Please remember, one appointment per patient.  If more than one member of the family needs to be seen, make one appointment for each person. 

Booking Appointments Online 

Patients may book Face to Face consultations online, Access the online appointment system(please ensure that you have registered for online services).

  • To register for online services (which gives access to appointments and enables you to order your repeat prescriptions) please fill in the online form here, you will then receive an electronic letter to your registered email address (Please ensure that you check your Inbox and Junk Mail Box regularly for the letter).
  •  Once you have received your letter simply follow the 'How to Complete your Registration Guide'.  Remember there is no need to register more than once, registering online will include access to online appointments and repeat prescriptions.
  • Once you have activated your account you will be able to log into the online services whenever you want. Should you experience any problems please refer to the 'Patient Frequently Asked Questions' Guide.

Telephone Consultations

Available with the doctor for only appropriate problems. Please tell the receptionist the nature of your call.  The doctor will return calls after surgery.


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
